Additive is a software house in its early stages. We are a loose group of experienced and enthusiastic developers, and we want to deliver good work.
Does your application remember G. W. Bush and the last development was during Obama's term? It probably needs to get back in shape!
Do you need to retrieve data, display data, transform data, or store data? Whether your goal is to save time, make money, or meet legislative requirements - if it makes sense, we can do it.
Something that worked yesterday doesn't work today, and your usual contact is unavailable? Try us. If it's within our capabilities and you have your passwords, we'll gladly help you.
We can't :D Fortunately, we don't have six people without work waiting for us to find a project. We prefer to start with a smaller project or a shorter phase in a smaller team, to get to know each other and see if we click. Then we are happy to take on bigger projects.
No. Development methodology is crucial for both developers and the quality of the final product. We don't just want to make money; we want to make money and do good work.
No, no, and definitely :D We have competitors some ot whom are better, bigger or cheaper, but we believe there is enough work for everyone, and instead of competing, we should collaborate.
A website is a marketing tool, and marketing is foreign to us, as you can see here on our website :D We make web applications, work with data, and so on. If you have a website that is not primarily for marketing, we would be interested.
No, we are happy to learn something, borrow an expert for something, and won't touch some things even with a two-meter pole.
Yes, gladly.
As Additive, not yet, we are working on it. But our developers have worked directly or as subcontractors for: water and sewage companies, the Slovak government, the Academy of Sciences, a mobile operator, a major electricity producer, and then a major electricity distributor, at least two railway logistic companies, and countless smaller companies and entrepreneurs.
Authenticity is absolutely essential. If a relationship, even a professional one, starts with bullshit, then bullshit layers up, and instead of pleasant work and quality results, more bullshit is created. Being transparent can be uncomfortable, but it is the best way.
Time is a non-renewable resource for each of us. We don't want to spend time on unnecessary work, and we don't want to waste the time of our clients and users of our applications.
Old software is software that has already proven itself, earned, and saved money. It contains more know-how than it seems at first glance. If possible, it makes sense to renew it and then maintain it continuously.
We want to develop software that is beneficial, looking for win-win-win scenarios. Even software development and operation have an impact on the environment, and we want to consciously reduce it.
